Last night I fell asleep while writing my weekly statement. I have a vague recollection of staring at a blurry screen, trying -and failing- to get words out of my fingers while my head performed an esoteric artsy dance, for what felt like hours. Somehow I managed to hit “publish” before midnight: my “statement” consisted on a lonely illustration, not a single word. That might be enough, but it feels weird. At least I didn’t skip a day.
The thing is, was I just lucky? Perhaps not. I believe I might have gotten some help. From whom? Obviously, the most likely suspect would be a magical gnome blogger, or “gnogger”. He must have been in a hurry, but he still stopped long enough to delete my unreadable rough and post only the picture. He definitely saved me there. Next time I feel sleepy while blogging I’ll leave a little plate with strawberries, gnoggers’ favorite food, by the keyboard.
What? You don’t believe me? I’ll try to find a picture of a gnogger for you. Today I only have this, though:
I want to take blogging seriously, so I’ve just promised to myself that I will post something new each day for the next year. It should be fun.
